Our 2008 Verismo Merlot is lightly blended with Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Syrah to produce an exceptionally delicious wine. It has tempting aromas of crisp fresh berries, red currants, and light asian spices. This feels very round and supple with hints of mocha, cassis, and vanilla bean. This is Verismo's first Merlot, and we are pleased with the results. Any true wine connoiseur needs to have a bottle of this on hand.

Vineyard Notes The fruit was harvested from the Coombsville and Oak Knoll Region of the Napa Valley from the D'Ambrosio Vineyards Berry Lane and Las Cerezas locations.

Food Pairing Notes This wine pairs quite well with herb roasted chicken, sauteed vegetables,and pasta dishes with buttery cream sauces.
